My Inheritance through Christ

1. We have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!- nothing, absolutely nothing is withheld from us.

The enemy would like us to think and believe that we are orphaned, left destitute and that we are in a forsaken world or existence. This is far from the truth, because here it is, we have an inheritance in Christ, who is our mediator, our advocate and our brother. Who is the first born of all, he is the ultimate first fruit for all great harvests come to us through Him, this is indeed the spiritual blessing.

Ephesians 1:3 “ May blessing be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!”

2. We are chosen, hand picked for His glory- No one child is left behind, see our brother made the will of the Father manifest.

Ephesians 1:4 “Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world..” He created me and you for His purpose and glory, before the world was, you were, we are No after thought, we were always in the mind of God.

3. We are the righteousness of God- When God looks at us he is filled with joy and hope, we are perfect as we are in Christ.

Ephesians 1:4 continues to say, “that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.”

4. God is our Father- We do not relate with God only as our creator but because of the adoption through Christ Jesus He is our Father and we can boldly say we are the children of God.

Ephesians 1:5 ”For He foreordained us to be adopted as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will.”

5. We have God’s grace- through Christ, His graciousness allows us to come before Him in humility and Awe of who he is to us as creator and Father.

Ephesians 1:6 “To the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.”

Christ our portion and inheritance, the joy of our inheritance.
